Last Tuesday, November 2nd, in the theater of our school, we celebrated the ceremony of certificates delivery of the Cambridge exams held on June 26th.
Our 35 candidates of all levels (Starters, Movers, Flyers, A1, A2, B1 and B2) managed to demonstrate their competence in English. It was a real pleasure to gather in order to recognize the effort that these wonderful boys and girls made a few months ago, and also, to be able to share this moment with the families. We are delighted with the results obtained and hope that they continue with more motivation, now that they have taken this positive step in their learning. This is one of the many achievements these students will celebrate in their academic life.
At the Hijas de María Auxiliadora school we are aware of the importance of English in this increasingly globalized world. We were recognized last year as a Cambridge exam preparation center and we have been the examining venue for the last 3 years. Our school has two teachers who are part of the Cambridge Assessment BEDA Team: Raquel González is «invigilator» of exams in Alicante, Murcia and Albacete, and Alma Gómez is a supervisor of Cambridge Exams in the same provinces. We are proud to have Cambridge Assessment staff at our school. In addition, we have the invaluable professionalism of LB Grupo, the company that teaches the extracurricular activity of English. All this is another sign that the school is strongly committed to English at all stages.
Learning English is, in addition to grades and degrees, developing the confidence to communicate and thus access a life full of opportunities and enriching experiences. It is about demonstrating to the world everything we are capable of doing using a language that serves as a vehicle for international communication, which is far beyond borders. We use it to study, to work, to have fun… Therefore, these exams involve much more than accrediting an English level.
Cambridge English Qualifications is recognized worldwide as a mark of excellence and provides accompaniment in the learning of English. Every year, around 5 and a half million people face the Cambridge exams with the confidence that they have the backing of an institution that has been accompanying people in learning English since 1913, a certificate accepted worldwide as a test of language competence. And we have the help of the BEDA program to bring these exams to our students.
During the award ceremony, we had the presence of the Titular Director of the school, Carolina Rey, and with a representation of the English teachers of all stages: Alma Gómez of Early Childhood Education, Fernando Carrasco of Primary Education, and Carmen García of Secondary Education, Baccalaureate and coordinator of the BEDA Program of the center, together with Raquel González, Secondary Education teacher and coordinator of Cambridge Exams, link between this platform and the school Hijas de María Auxiliadora – Salesianas.
In the familiar and close environment that characterizes us, and carrying out all prevention measures, we proceeded to the delivery of certificates. The students present at the theater went up to the stage to collect the title in alphabetical order and by accredited level, receiving a great applause from all those present.
Our school, Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, wishes to continue sharing many more successes. Congratulations to the students and many thanks to the families, for the trust placed in us.

El pasado martes 2 de noviembre, en el teatro de nuestro colegio, celebramos la ceremonia de entrega de certificados de los exámenes de Cambridge realizados el pasado 26 de junio.
Nuestros 35 candidatos de todos los niveles (Starters, Movers, Flyers, A1, A2, B1 y B2) consiguieron demostrar su competencia en inglés. Fue un verdadero placer habernos reunido para reconocer el esfuerzo que estos maravillosos chicos y chicas realizaron hace unos meses, y además, poder compartir este momento con las familias. Estamos encantados con los resultados obtenidos y esperamos que sigan con más motivación, ahora que han dado este paso tan positivo en su aprendizaje. Este es uno de los muchos logros que los estudiantes van a celebrar en su vida académica.
En el colegio Hijas de María Auxiliadora somos conscientes de la importancia del inglés en este mundo cada vez más globalizado. Fuimos reconocidos el curso pasado como centro preparador de exámenes Cambridge y hemos sido sede examinadora estos 3 últimos años. Nuestro colegio cuenta con dos profesoras que forman parte del Equipo BEDA de Cambridge Assessment: Raquel González es «invigilator» de exámenes de Alicante, Murcia y Albacete, y Alma Gómez es supervisora de exámenes Cambridge en las mismas provincias. Nos enorgullece contar con personal de Cambridge Assessment en nuestro centro escolar. Además, contamos con la inestimable profesionalidad de LB Grupo, la empresa que imparte la actividad extraescolar de inglés. Todo esto es una muestra más de que el colegio apuesta fuertemente por el inglés en todas las etapas.
El aprendizaje del inglés es, además de notas y títulos, desarrollar la confianza para comunicarse y acceder así a una vida llena de oportunidades y experiencias enriquecedoras. Se trata de demostrar al mundo todo lo que somos capaces de hacer utilizando una lengua que sirve de vehículo de comunicación internacional, que está muy por encima de las fronteras. Lo utilizamos para estudiar, para trabajar, para divertirnos… Por lo tanto, estos exámenes implican mucho más que acreditar un nivel de inglés.
Cambridge English Qualifications está reconocido a nivel mundial como marca de excelencia y proporciona acompañamiento en el aprendizaje del inglés. Cada año, alrededor de 5 millones y medio de personas se enfrentan a los exámenes de Cambridge con la confianza de que cuentan con el respaldo de una institución que lleva desde 1913 acompañando a las personas en el aprendizaje del inglés, un certificado aceptado en todo el mundo como prueba de competencia lingüística. Y contamos con la ayuda del programa BEDA para acercar esos exámenes a nuestro alumnado.
Durante el acto de entrega, contamos con la presencia de la Directora Titular del colegio, Carolina Rey, y con una representación de los profesores de inglés de todas las etapas: Alma Gómez de Educación Infantil, Fernando Carrasco de Educación Primaria, y Carmen García de Educación Secundaria, Bachillerato y coordinadora del Programa BEDA del centro, junto con Raquel González, profesora de secundaria y coordinadora de Exámenes Cambridge, nexo de unión entre esta plataforma y el colegio Hijas de María Auxiliadora – Salesianas.
En el ambiente familiar y cercano que nos caracteriza, y cumpliendo con todas las medidas de prevención, se procedió a la entrega de certificados. El alumnado presente en el teatro fue subiendo al escenario a recoger el título por orden alfabético y por nivel acreditado, recibiendo un gran aplauso de todos los allí presentes.
Nuestro colegio, Hijas de María Auxiliadora, desea poder continuar compartiendo muchos éxitos más. Muchísimas felicidades a los alumnos y muchísimas gracias a las familias, por la confianza depositada en nosotros.
